What should you expect when you work with Safe Passage Marine?

The following practices comprise the product that Safe Passage Marine strives to deliver in every transaction:

  1. Safety will always come first.Survey Kit
  2. Customer service will be a priority, before, during and after the survey.
  3. I will arrive on-time and prepared with the necessary equipment and clothed in the appropriate attire.
  4. I will conduct myself in a professional manner.
  5. I will not impose a time limit for your survey.  I will work until the task is completed correctly.
  6. If I do not know the answer to a question, I will tell you.  Then I will do the research to find the answer.
  7. I will deliver to you a custom narrative report with photographs in a format acceptable to banks and insurance company with every significant finding clearly spelled out.  Recommended repairs and practical suggestions on how to improve a vessel’s safety, reliability or comfort will be included and each survey will provide an estimate of the vessel’s Fair Market Value (FMV) with an explanation as to how that figure was derived.
  8. I will use all of the tools at my disposal; Soldboats.com, BUC.com, ABOS and NADA as well as current listings of boats for sale to insure that my Fair Market Value analysis is as accurate as possible.
  9. I encourage you to attend the survey and I will do my best to answer any questions you may have as they arise.
  10. If you cannot attend, I will contact you after the survey and provide you with a verbal briefing of how the survey went.  Please note, that I often find other issues when reviewing my photographs while writing the report.  They will most often be minor, but the stipulation must be made that the written report is the final word!
